Collaboration in Focus

“Collaboration in Focus” at the 2024 Pingyao International Photography Festival highlighted the work of 11 Melbourne-based photographers, emphasizing collaboration with industries like architecture, fashion, and food. Co-curated by Shane Hulbert and Bronek Kozka, the exhibition explored how dialogue between photographers and clients fosters unique insights into the creative process. The exhibition aimed to reflect Melbourne’s creative community and invited a broader conversation on contemporary commercial photographic practices. Selected as a featured international curated show, the exhibition included public talks and interviews, further enhancing its significance in the festival’s program.
