Altered Landscapes

Altered Landscapes explored the relationship between land and cultural identity, focusing on how spaces within the country serve as both historical and contemporary markers of national identity. Drawing from PhD research, the exhibition reflected on a theme often addressed in cinema and literature but less frequently in photography.  The series expanded to include international locations to broaden the investigation into altered landscape photography and it’s signifance in contemporary photographic practices.
